Arsenal and talented midfielders are never far away from making a story, aren’t they? According to French reports today, Gunners are now considering a bid for the highly rated Lille midfielder Sofiane Boufal.
Famous newspaper Shoot has come up with a theory that Boufal is keen to leave Ligue 1 after an impressive start to the season. The 22-year old has managed 5 goals and an assist in 15 appearances so far this season.
Apparently Boufal’s impressive start to the season has got the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and PSG interested in the player.
However, Arsenal are at an advantage given player’s wish to work under Arsene Wenger (much like most of the young French players).
If that is the case, Arsenal need to cough-up, £18.5million for Boufal’s services in January. It is thought that, Wenger is keen to sign the player than to lose to any of his rivals or having to get him at a skimmed price in the summer.
