Arsenal’s striker woes are about to get over after Mirror claims that Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette could soon be heading to Emirates after deciding to force his move away from Parc Olympique Lyonnais.
The French International striker has also been linked with a move to West Ham this summer but Lyon could never agree a transfer fee with the Hammers.
Gunners meanwhile are prepared to bid as high as £35million to sign Lacazette who despite a slow start to the last season scored 23 goals in 44 appearances for Lyon.
Arsene Wenger has seen his striker hunt go from bad to worst after losing out on the likes of Jamie Vardy, Alvaro Morata, Romelu Lukaku and Gonzalo Higuain.
With Lacazette expected to sign coming few weeks Arsenal can begin to plan ahead for the next season. With Granit Xhaka already at the club, Arsenal are expected to sign at least couple of more players and be a realistic candidate for next season’s league title.
