Mesut Ozil is in some form at the moment, the German cannot stop assisting goals and in between he is chipping away with crucial goals himself as well. Courtesy Ozil’s assist and a goal tonight, Gunners now lead the Premier League table, albeit for 24 hours.

Ozil helped Gabriel score his first Arsenal with a delightful delivery from a corner to mark his 16th assist of the season. The goal came at the right time for Arsenal, who were beginning to get impatient after their initial pressure resulted in nothing substantial.

By this time, Bournemouth were unable to deal with Ozil’s balls in to the box. He literally created 3 clear cut chances before the half time, however, Walcott, Mertesacker & Ramsey failed to convert any of those chances.

Second half saw Ozil at his usual brilliance but this time, he decided to start and finish the move himself. He swept the ball wide before receiving it from a neat flick from Olivier Giroud, and then in some style, he tucked it away to score the typical Arsenal goal with a touch of class & flair.

From there on, there was just one winner in the game, however, the margin could have been wider had Walcott and Giroud taken their chances in the second half. Despite the missed chances, Arsenal will happy to get rid of their 4-0 nightmarish result against Southampton and go top of the Premier League table.
