Antonio Conte
Despite Euro 2016 being in full swing, Premier League clubs have started to look forward to next season and what will be their tactic going into the most competitive season of all time.

One such club is Chelsea where the incoming manager Antonio Conte is yet to decide on summer transfers, however, the Italian has confirmed his desire to sell the players who do not work hard for his team’s cause.

According to reports from ESPN, Eden Hazard faces a real battle to keep his place in the line-up as he is an out-and-out winger and he does not seem to fit either the midfield or forward line for Conte’s 3-5-2 formation.

The same notion has been concurred by the former Chelsea manager Gianluca Vialli. The Italian worked on the Belgium-Italy game last night and was not entirely convinced with Hazard’s performance.

Vialli said: “With Conte going to Chelsea next year, if he doesn’t run he [Hazard] will be out, so he will have to do much more.”

Warning for Eden Hazard

This must come as a warning sign for the Belgian international, who failed to inspire his team to a positive result against Conte’s Italy last night. Hazard was kept quiet by Georgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci and was not given a clear opportunity to create any goal-scoring opportunity.

This was the first time Conte was watching Hazard from the sidelines since taking over as the Chelsea manager and while his endeavor must have pleased the Italian, question marks remain over his desire to run the entire length of the pitch for his team’s cause.

That may end up being the biggest reason for Hazard either getting dropped by Antonio Conte or being sold this summer. Conte is also weighing up the option of signing Alvaro Morata next season as the Spaniard striker is certain to quit Juventus and make a Premier League switch.
