Arsenal have been sluggish in the transfer window, with them signing only two players to the squad Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon and Sead Kolasinac from Bosnia on a free transfer. Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger claims that he cannot manage all the players in his team, hence a clear out has begun.
Wenger sold Gabriel Paulista on a permanent deal to Valencia last week, now according to reports, England International Kieran Gibbs is on the verge of moving to Galatasary.
Gibbs has been with the Gunners since the start of his professional career and he broke into the scene for Arsenal when Gael Clichy left the club for Manchester City. Afterward, Gibbs still struggled with the injuries over the years, playing as second choice after Nacho Monreal.
The Signing of Kolasinac to the squad with the Bosnian displaying an impressive performances for the Gunners throughout their preseason tour. With that Gibbs has fallen out of favour and if he is to play as a regular it well be away from the Emirates Stadium.
The 27-year-old is on the verge of securing a move to Galatasaray in a deal worth £3.7 million, it was claimed that the Gibbs’ father with Mesut Ozil’s agent has held talks with Turkish side over the deal for the player, and according to reports from Turkish Outlet Fanatik, the deal would be completed before the deadline of the transfer window.
Gibbs has been at the Emirates Stadium since 2004 and broke to the first team in 2008, and he reportedly have 12 months left on his contract.
