Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez has reportedly told the club he’ll stay another season but leave on a free transfer to rivals Chelsea unless Gunners bring in quality players in next 2 transfer windows.
Sanchez is stalling over signing a new contract with Arsenal, who have offered him £250,000 a week to remain at the Emirates Stadium, as he is still unsure over their ambition.
Sanchez has been quoted as saying he’d like to stay in London for an ambitious team, with growing speculation that Chelsea are eager to pounce for him this summer.
Chelsea themselves are sweating over the possibilities of losing Eden Hazard to Real Madrid and have lined up a move for Alexis Sanchez if the Belgian quits Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Sanchez, however, seems in no particular hurry to leave Arsenal as he could give Arsenal one more year to match his demands on the pitch, according to the Daily Mirror.
It is a clear warning to the Gunners that they must make a clear statement of intent to stop being also-rans in the title race and Champions League if they want to keep their best player away from Stamford Bridge.
