The transfer market have seen some mouthwatering deals and it’s just about to get even better in coming days. Chelsea have just been handed a transfer boost with comments credited to the agent of Leonardo Bonucci.
With the transfer market still very much open, reports according to the Guardian claiming that the player is in talks with the Old Lady for a transfer away from Turin.
Bonucci have always been in the news for the past two transfer window for reason that he will possibly leave the Old Lady. Manchester City and Chelsea were heavily linked but a new twist was introduced when there was news on Wednesday that the San Siro Clubs have entered the race for the 30-year-old centre-back.
They claimed that the agent of Bonucci, Alessandro Lucci was quizzed on Wednesday about a possible move for the player by Sportitalia and he replied as thus: ‘We’re working on a sale.’
Rather than making the move to Chelsea, it is understood that AC Milan have emerged favorite for the player’s signature, preferring to stay in Italy.
Bonucci, who helped Juventus to the Scudetto and Champions League final, is on contract with the Old Lady until 2021 but he is valued at £50million.
